UNDERSTAND YOUR BUSINESS
The first step is to understand our clients’ and customers’ business focus and the purpose of what is needed to be built. Understanding the business can provide key insights into the product design which can help make the final product or solution more effective and efficient in accomplishing business objectives.
RESEARCH & REQUIREMENTS
Research User Requirements - The next step is to learn what actual users wish to accomplish with the application or system and how they will practically use the end product. This is a key step in making the product usable in order to better accomplish its purpose. The research process involves interviewing people who will use the product as well as understanding the important use cases.
DESIGN & PROTOTYPE
At this step the basic product is shaped and wireframes are created and shared with users. Prototyping is a key step in solidifying the product so that users can then see how the product will look and work. The research and requirements gathered in prior steps are implemented in the prototypes.
TEST & REFINE
The final step in the design process is user testing.. We share the designs and prototypes with users who then provide any feedback which is incorporated back into the product. This is an interactive process that continues until the final design achieves acceptance from the key users and stakeholders before development and implementation.
